Scottish Terrier
Appearance:
- This breed is small and strong.
- It has a short, soft undercoat. The protective top coat is harsh, wiry and erect.
- The colours of the breed are black, wheaten (white) and brindle (broken black with highlights.
- Scottish Terriers have a very distinctive feature being its pricked ears.
Description / Temperament:
- They are very attached to family.
- Sportive, “love” to dig, and very active.
- Scotties are very loving, stubborn, good watch dog, alert and playful.
- The breed used to be a hunting dog, now a companion.
Grooming:
- Needs to be clipped 2x year. Regular brushing and combing weekly.

- Height 25 – 28cm
- Weight 8 – 10kg
