Samoyed
Appearance:
- The Samoyed are white, cream and light brown.
- The Samoyed is known for its stunning white coat.
- Outer coat is straight, the under coat is thick and soft. The Samoyed has a double coat.
- The tail normally is flipped over and sits on the back of the dog.
Description / Temperament:
- This breed is commonly used in the snow to pull a sledge.
- The breed is friendly, affectionate, cheerful, gentle and intelligent.
- Samoyeds love being around people.
- They make a good family dog, and are fond of children.
- The Samoyed is full of energy and stays in puppy like for a long time. It has a constant stamina.
Caring and Grooming:
- The coat sheds once a year. Be careful not to over wash the Samoyed. Make sure you brush the dogs coat daily.
- Best to use a comb with metal teeth, if there is a lot of shedding of hair.
- The coat will trap dirt but giving a good brush or comb will get rid of this.
